Meet UUA Consultant

UUA CONSULTANT TO CONDUCT ASSESSMENT VISIT
As we strive to strengthen our stewardship, we have invited Barry Finkelstein to spend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, February 19-21, 2010, with us to conduct an Assessment Visit. Barry has been a UUA Congregational Stewardship Consultant since the Fall of 2007, and has over 30 years experience in management consulting and strategic planning. He has worked with several UU churches in all aspects of stewardship, governance, and planning since becoming a UU in 1981. Barry hopes to accomplish three Assessment Visit goals. 1) gather enough information to gain a clear sense of who we are and where we would like to go; 2) generate specific observations and recommendations to help us on our journey; and 3) explain how the UUA can offer guidance and coaching as we move into the future. Barry will meet with various congregational leaders on Friday evening and Saturday morning. On Saturday afternoon, he will conduct an open workshop for all of our leaders and interested members.
Barry will attend our worship service on Sunday morning. After the service, he will hold an open forum to share his observations and recommendations. A light lunch will be provided, childcare will be available, and we encourage all to stay for this 45-minute conversation. Please join us in welcoming Barry to our congregation.
