Thank YOU Mary Monica!

In some ways, August of 2008 seems like just the other day and we still remember that first Sunday in September of 2008 when we all met Mary Monica for the first time as she joined us for Opening Sunday. She and Rev. Eliza shared a story and led us in the Water Communion with children and adults sprinkled around the sanctuary bearing rain rattles – to bring us a cascading sound of falling water at various points throughout the service.

As this church year began, the Religious Education Committee was particularly happy to be working with a 2^nd year DRE as the Interim Ministry with Rev. Roger began. We have appreciated our time with Mary Monica. She has worked hard for us, organizing behind the scenes; pulling together last year's Coming of Age program – on a very short time-line, supporting the launch of this year's Youth Group, writing curriculum and creating social service activities for our children.

As Mary Monica departs, to return to the practice of law, we offer our thanks and appreciation and wish her all the best.
