Welcome! I am looking forward to the beginning of the church year and having our children bringing their joy,
their curiosity and their generosity back into our building. The Religious Education Committee and I have been working hard
to plan an exciting year for the children. This year, each of the classes will focus, at least in part, on world religions. In
December, we will have a mini session for our younger three classes which will explore concepts of prayer and
meditation. In the spring, we will have a social action intersession for our older classes to investigate and see what they might
do to relieve world poverty. We will continue to have one-room schoolhouses over holiday weekends which will offer all our
children an opportunity to do social services such as making holiday cards for our friends in Crescent Manor. In early
September all parent should receive a copy of our prospectus which will give more detailed information about our program
this year. The prospectus will be accompanied by registration forms and information about how you can assist with our
RE program. Please return the registration form and parent involvement form as soon as possible so we can "hit the ground
running" when we have our first class on September 20th.
